Day Seven: Rock of Ages

Today as I sit here watching the blinking cursor on my screen I am somewhat lost for words on what to write today, not because I don't know what to say, more so because I have too much. As I think about my life I see so clearly how God has continually been my Rock. Through my ups and downs, mountains and valleys, joys and sorrows - He has been constant. God has taught me that my emotions and feeling don't change His character - He is my Rock no matter what I am feeling or what I am experiencing. Boy am I thankful for that.

He is constant
He is forever
He is faithful
He is eternal
He is our protection
He is our defense.

“Trust in the Lord forever,
For in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock."
- Isaiah 26:4

Dear Jesus,
I praise You Lord that through and through You are my Rock and You never change. I thank You for keeping Your promises and being worthy of my full trust. I could not live without You. In the happy times and in the hard times may my trust remain in You, the Rock of Ages. Amen.
